In 2001, Moneypenny Bookkeeping Services Pty Limited was created to provide specialist services to individuals and businesses operating in the entertainment industry. Based at Fox Studios, the bookkeeping team is managed by Karen Ford, an accredited MYOB consultant with over 10 years experience.
The major focus of our bookkeeping division is tracking project and business development costs for production companies and musicians and working together with your tax accountant to ensure all accounts are presented in a complete and accurate format, particularly with regard to payroll, year end and periodic Business Activity Statement (BAS) preparation and lodgement.
Our clients include film and television producers, directors, writers, actors, musicians, crew, agents and managers, TVC production companies, music and tour promoters, athletes and other industry service providers.
For businesses, Karen will perform an obligation free, initial site visit to review your existing accounting systems and procedures to determine your bookkeeping requirements. We provide a choice of onsite or offsite data processing delivering a flexible service specific to client needs.
MYOB is our preferred software of choice, where we can provide accredited training and accounts review for beginners to advanced levels, should you wish to self-maintain your accounts.
