Moneypenny Services (NZ), established in 2004, is a private company based in Auckland providing a range of specialist financial services exclusively to the New Zealand entertainment industry.
Moneypenny is able to deliver the same boutique entertainment financial services that it provides in Australia, South Africa and now United Kingdom, where since 1980 the group has financially managed and advised more than 350 productions (in excess of $1.5 billion) with budgets ranging from $100,000 to $150,000,000.
The operations in New Zealand are divided as follows:
Moneypenny Services (NZ) Limited - financial management of film & television productions and music tours, rebates & incentives advice and boutique entertainment tax services to individuals and entities
Goldfinger Systems Pty Limited (via Moneypenny (NZ) as exclusive agent) - project accounting software licensing
In 2008, to further increase its presence and further develop its range of activities in New Zealand, Moneypenny (NZ) has entered into a strategic joint venture with Pieter Holl and Associates Ltd, one of the leading tax advisers to the New Zealand film and television industry.
