Brett Thornquest, CPA

Brett has been working for the Moneypenny group since 2000 and has developed a unique combination of experience at the coalface of film making as a production accountant and in the business and tax division, structuring US and co-production incentive finance and compliance and providing tax planning advice to domestic and international artists and entertainers. He also regularly authors or co-authors articles in various international publications on such international production finance and taxation matters.
Prior to joining Moneypenny, Brett worked as an Accountant with Acclaim Entertainment Inc, a leading worldwide entertainment software development & distribution corporate group and Warner Bros. Group Projects in the area of theme park attraction project budget management.
Brett joined Moneypenny as a Production Accountant and Post Production Accountant on the feature film The Quiet American for Intermedia/Mirage Enterprises.
Currently, Brett is based in Sydney, travelling regularly to represent Moneypenny worldwide.
