Moneypenny has been financially servicing the international film and television industry with specialist production accountants and support staff since 1980 where it has provided project financial management for more than 350 productions with budgets ranging from $100,000 to $100,000,000 for features, MOW’s, episodic tv series, mini series, documentaries and music tours.
In 2004, Moneypenny Film Accounting Services (Pty) Ltd was established and Jane Corden, principal of the Moneypenny Services group in Australia for the past 15 years has relocated to South Africa to recruit and train local production accountants and assistants to service both domestic and foreign producers to a standard that will meet international and completion bond company expectations.

Our accountants have experience with most accounting packages used in the industry – Vista, Visual Max, PSL and Moneypenny also have developed our own fully integrated general ledger, cost reporting and payroll software package – GFS and are familiar with the reporting requirements of US studios, international co-production and legislative authorities, various government funding bodies and completion guarantors.
When engaging Moneypenny, the production team at all times retains the ability to select from our pool of available accountants or assistants who they wish to have working on their project, as they do when hiring a freelancer.
